Richard “Rocky” Roger Muhlethaler, 68, passed away suddenly at his residence in Fairbanks on April 25, 2008.
Rocky was born Aug. 11, 1939, in Great Falls, Mont., and has been a resident of Fairbanks since 1969.
He was the previous owner and operator of Paragon Plumbing for 20 years. Rocky’s hobbies included golfing, fishing and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of eight years, Cora Muhlethaler of Fairbanks; sons, Joseph of Montana and Blaine and Charles, both of Fairbanks; daughters, Natalie Sotelo and Kara Moore, both of Fairbanks; and a stepson, Jerry Ridlington of Fairbanks.
Visitation will be this Friday, May 9, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home. A funeral will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Mirek Woznica of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church officiating.
He will be laid to rest later this spring at Northern Lights Memorial Park.
