Erda Fuller, retired RN, will share experiences as a medical caregiver and trainer in Afghanistan — before, during and after the Russian occupation. Several trips to Afghanistan and her work with the rural women and children there have provided her with insights and perspectives that most of us will never acquire for ourselves.

Fuller will speak at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the auditorium of the Noel Wien Library. The event is sponsored by the Fairbanks Branch of the American Association of University Women.
