The Public Safety Report is compiled from criminal complaints filed in state and federal courts, as well as some police blotter information, trooper dispatches, fire department reports and interviews with public safety officials. Individuals named as arrested and/or charged with crimes in this report are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
• A passenger in a car that rolled over at 350.6 Mile Richardson Highway was sent to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday, according to Alaska State Troopers.
The driver, Shawn J.W. Hack, 18, was cited for driving at a speed not prudent for road conditions.
Both parties reported wearing seatbelts.
• Lisa Purdy, 41, was sent to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital when she was injured after allegedly backing into the path of a another car near the intersection of College Road and Ivanoff Avenue at 2:05 a.m. Thursday.
Alaska State Troopers said she originally provided a false name, and was charged with providing false information and driving with a suspended driver’s license.
Alcohol was not a factor, troopers said.
• Alaska State Troopers said a burglary in North Pole was reported at 7:20 a.m. Thursday.
A new computer worth about $550 was taken from a home, trooper said.
• Fairbanks Police reported a home invasion near the corner of Fifth and Sixth Avenue at 2:02 a.m. Thursday.
