June 12, 2009 — North Slope producer Exxon Mobil and pipeline builder TransCanada announced Thursday they will work together on building a natural gas pipeline linking Alaska’s resource with Outside markets.
The news made waves, as industry experts have long maintained that Exxon and other producers will have to be onboard any successful pipeline.
