Woman charged with trafficking women for sex in Fairbanks, other Alaska communities

ANCHORAGE — The alleged manager of an online business marketing women for commercial sex in five Alaska communities, including Fairbanks, has been jailed on sex trafficking charges.

Alaska State Troopers said Anchorage resident Amber L. Batts, 39, was arrested Wednesday on three counts of second-degree sex trafficking and one count of third-degree sex trafficking.
