The University of Alaska Board of Regents announced Tuesday it will postpone an emergency meeting originally planned today. The meeting was planned in response to a letter from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities warning the university to work together and maintain communication and governance standards as they work to sort out the current budgetary crisis. According to an email update, the meeting has been delayed until “schedules can be aligned for an in-person meeting.” The date for the meeting has yet to be decided.
