FAIRBANKS — Fairbanks police are asking for the public’s help to find a local man who has not been seen in three weeks.

The last time anyone spoke to Johnny Rogers, 69, was June 16 when cell phone records indicate he had a brief conversation with a friend, Fairbanks police Detective Peyton Merideth said.

Since then, there has been no sign of Rogers or his blue 2010 Toyota pickup truck, license plate FUH685. Police have checked both Rogers’ Fairbanks home and his Steele Creek cabin but have not found him.

There also has been no recent activity on his credit cards.

Rogers has health problems he needs to address regularly, Merideth said.

He is described as a white male,

5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 170 pounds. He has gray hair and a mustache.

Anyone with information about Rogers’ whereabouts is asked to call Fairbanks police at 450-6500.
