FAIRBANKS — Dennis Moser, of Fairbanks, has been reappointed to the State Historical Records Advisory Board by Gov. Sean Parnell, according to a new release Monday from the governor’s office. Moser is the head of the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections and Archives at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Elmer Rasmuson Library.

The board reviews statewide needs for management of records and historical documents. Moser was reappointed to a seat reserved for a UAF representative.

Parnell also reappointed Zachary Jones, of Juneau. Jones is the archivist and collections manager for the Sealaska Heritage Institute, an adjunct history instructor at UA Southeast and a doctoral student in Native American history at UAF.
