Dec. 1, 1910 — The increase of grouse and game birds is not found alone in this section, arrivals from the Iditarod reporting the birds are so numerous in that section that a man can go out and kill 50 in an hour. As in the local case, the increase is because of the fact that the fur bearing animals, such as lynx that prey on the grouse have been cleaned out by trappers.
