The House Finance Committee will hear public testimony from Fairbanks area residents today from 2-7 p.m. at the Fairbanks Legislative Information Office, located at 1292 Sadler Way, Suite 308. Those interested are invited to testify on the Alaska Permanent Fund dividend and other issues pertaining to the state budget.

The hearing is part of a four-city tour the committee is taking around the state. The committee heard testimony from Anchorage residents Monday and Mat-Su area residents Tuesday.

Those interested can either provide two minutes of testimony in person or call into the hearing by calling the Fairbanks Legislative Information Office at 452-4448. Written testimony can be emailed to housefinance@akleg.gov.

Fairbanks Republican Rep. Bart LeBon and Fairbanks Democratic Rep. Adam Wool are both members of the House Finance Committee.
