Fairbanks woman killed when vehicle strikes moose

FAIRBANKS - A 23-year-old Fairbanks woman died early Saturday when her vehicle collided with a moose on Sheep Creek Road, according to Alaska State Troopers.

Brittney Zabriskie was driving a blue Subaru when she struck a moose and went into the ditch. Zabriskie died in the collision. Her next of kin was notified and her body is being sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
