Fairbanks police identify woman whose body was found near highway

FAIRBANKS - Fairbanks Police have released the identity of the Causcasian woman whose body was found Wednesday in the area of the Richardson Highway and Badger Road as Kaylynn Bishop, age 31.

Lt. Dan Welborn said police are requesting the assistance of the public who may have had contact with Bishop during the past week or have any information regarding her death to contact him at 450-6566 or Detective Peyton Merideth at 450-6553.

Her body has been sent to the state medical examiner for an autopsy.
