DOT gearing up for busy 2014 in Interior Alaska

FAIRBANKS — The past few road construction seasons have been hectic for Interior residents, but they may have just been an appetizer for summer 2014.

Next season’s Alaska Department of Transportation Northern Region projects will be enormous in both scope and potential for disruption. It’ll be busy enough that region director Steve Titus said he’s already fretting about giving motorists enough warning, seven months before work will begin.
