FAIRBANKS - A 22-year-old Arizona man was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at Denali National Park and Preserve Tuesday morning.
It is not clear at this time if the shooting was accidental or intentional, according to a news release issued by the National Park Service.
The man was found at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Riley Creek Campground, which is located just inside the park entrance. His name has not been released.
The park service is investigating the incident with the help of the Alaska State Troopers.
