FAIRBANKS — Two articles published at the University of Alaska Fairbanks student newspaper last spring triggered a university investigation into whether the newspaper is creating a hostile environment for women on campus.

A university investigator concluded the Sun Star newspaper isn’t guilty of sexual harassment or discrimination, but the matter is under appeal by the person who brought the complaint.
