Pilot dead in Merrill Field airplane crash

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Authorities have released the identity of the pilot who died when his Piper PA-12 crashed Wednesday morning at Merrill Field in Anchorage.

Anchorage police say in a release the victim was 61-year-old Charles Hancock of Anchorage.
