2010 Iditarod start order

FAIRBANKS - Veteran Linwood Fiedler will be the first musher to hit the trail in the 2010 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.

A total of 71 mushers are signed up for the race, including current and former champions Lance Mackey, (No. 49) Jeff King, (15) Mitch Seavey, (19) Martin Buser (37) and Rick Swenson (57).

Four-time Yukon Quest champion Hans Gatt is also in the mix. He drew bib 20.

The ceremonial start begins in downtown Anchorage on Saturday and mushers will leave from Willow on Sunday en route to the finish line in Nome.
