Chugiak methamphetamine cooker gets 12 years in prison
Published Friday, September 5, 2008
ANCHORAGE -- A woman who cooked up methamphetamine and caused a fire has received a 12-year prison sentence.
Susan Soss of Chugiak was arrested after the fire in 2005 at the home she was renting in Chugiak. Soss told detectives that she had been cooking methamphetamine for years and had taught others how to do it, according to Anchorage District Attorney Adrienne Bachman.
A jury last January found that Soss endangered the lives of other people and had a child under the age of 10 in her care when she was cooking the drug.
Judge John Suddock, who sentenced Soss on Friday, used those facts to increase her sentence.

Ok. What's the point of linking us to a page that doesn't even have an english link ON it?
If you have something to say, say it here. If it could use reinforcement, then link. But make the link english-compatible, please.
Meth is an evil drug. Cooking it is definitely as bad as smoking it. And for kids in the household, it's really damaging.
About time they bust a meth-person for a change, theres plenty more to go so don't stop there boys!
The link above has something to do with flaxseed oil, weird.
but I think the comment means something like-
"12 years is a long time, but maybe not long enough".
People don't burn houses down trying to grow marijuana.
I hope they bust the meth heads at a local fbx trucking company...even have 2 "men" (and I use that term lightly - they are not real men)living in the 99712 zip code...while wife/mother sits on the couch eating and eating and eating...so sad...the house is close to others too; hope the nearby pond saves lives...
