The incident occurred Sunday at a local home.
• Michael Jain Crosson, 30, of Fairbanks, was charged with fourth-degree assault after he allegedly threw a chair at a Rescue Mission staffer on Sunday.
The staffer told Fairbanks police that Crosson showed up at the mission intoxicated and started chasing him around after he asked Crosson to leave. He also admitted to punching Crosson in the face twice in self-defense. The staff member was not charged with any offense.
Crosson was on the ground, bleeding from his nose, when police arrived, according to a criminal complaint filed in court.

A chemical test found his breath-alcohol content to be 0.126, more than the legal limit of 0.08 to operate a motor vehicle.
• Michael Vanhatten Jr., 43, of Fairbanks, was charged with driving under the influence after Fairbanks International Airport police investigated a 911 call Sunday that was apparently initiated by one of Vanhatten’s children.
He initially admitted to drinking and driving to the airport but, after being arrested, said he did not drive, according to a criminal complaint filed in court. A chemical test found his breath-alcohol content to be 0.154.
Police found a small amount of marijuana and a marijuana pipe on him as well, according to the complaint.
Vanhatten also was charged with sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and four counts of child endangerment.

Peter has been convicted of theft 12 times, including two felony counts, since 2000, according to a criminal complaint filed in court.
Vehicle collision
An Oregon man was injured Monday night after rolling his truck off Shaw Creek Road in Delta Junction.
John E. Freimuth, 52, was taken to Delta Family Clinic and then later airlifted to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
Troopers believe the accident was caused by icy road conditions.
