The annual plant sale of perennials, vegetables, herbs and house plants sponsored by Hospice of the Tanana Valley volunteers will be held May 24, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Hospice Greenhouse on Turner Street near the intersection of 20th Avenue.

The call is out for donations of indoor and outdoor plants, especially Fairbanks-hardy perennials. Donors can call the hospice office at 474-0311 if they need help digging up and thinning perennial plants, shrubs, and/or bushes.

All proceeds from the plant sale go to support hospice programs that bring comfort and hope to those suffering from terminal illness or loss of a loved one, free of charge.
