FAIRBANKS — Steve Frank of Fairbanks was re-appointed to the six-member Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation Board of Trustees.

He was first appointed to the board in 2003, was re-appointed a year later, and was named chairman in September 2007.

Frank is a former state legislator and co-owns and operates River’s Edge Resort.

He has served on numerous visitor industry boards and on the Alyeska Pipeline Company President’s Community Panel and the Catholic Schools-Monroe Foundation board of directors.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Alaska Fairbanks.

The PFD board is responsible for overseeing corporate operations and setting investment policy for the fund.

Investments top $37 billion in value and generate annual dividends for qualified Alaskans.
