FAIRBANKS — Several Interior residents are among those recently appointed to state boards by Gov. Sarah Palin.

Delta farmer Ruby Hollembaek was appointed to represent producers on the Board of Agriculture and Conservation.

She has worked as a teacher, guidance counselor and administrator.

Hollembaek earned a master’s degree in education from University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1994.
