West Valley High presents double feature

West Valley High School Thespian Troupe is presenting a pair of plays. “The Case of the Really Big Dog of the Baskervilles: A Justin Thyme Mystery” and “American Idle” will be performed 7 p.m. on April 17-19 at the West Valley Performing Arts Center.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and Military and available at the door.

“Baskerville” is a quick, comedic mystery set in the English country side. “Idle” centers around a professor who believes idleness extends life spans.

The play is directed by senior student Daniel Roach. The group’s adviser, Rebecca Dreier, said the troupe chose the plays and has taken the lead in this production.

“It’s really their troupe and their show,” Dreier said.
