JUNEAU, Alaska - Three new exhibits are being unveiled at the Alaska State Museum in Juneau next week.

They include an exhibit by Kristin Link titled "Notes from Nature: A naturalist-artist in Alaska's Wilderness."

"Alaska Positive 2012" is a juried photo exhibit, a biennial series meant to encourage photography as an art form in the state.

The third exhibit is "Coastal Impressions: A Photographic Journey along Alaska's Gulf Coast." The museum says it was created by Cook Inlet Regional Citizens Advisory Council along with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The exhibits, which open during a First Friday event, will close Jan. 12.
