ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Anchorage police say a man was found dead near a midtown intersection.

KTUU (http://is.gd/OhhruE ) says the man, believed to have been in his mid-30s, was found Saturday afternoon near 36th Ave. and Springer Street.

Police are investigating but say the death does not appear to be suspicious.

Police did not immediately release the man's name.
