FAIRBANKS — A man injured last week in a single-vehicle wreck in Fox died Wednesday night from his injuries at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage.

Daniel Abbett, 54, had out-of-state family with him when he died Wednesday, but troopers are still looking for people who might have known where he lived in the Interior to help settle his affairs. His last permanent address was in Wasilla, but troopers believe he was

living in the Fairbanks area at the time of the crash.

Troopers are asking anyone with information about where Abbett might have lived to call Sgt. Rick Roberts at 451-2258.

Abbett was thrown from a pickup truck he was driving after it went out of control on the Old Steese Highway in Fox on Oct. 3. Troopers indicated at the time of the crash that alcohol was likely a factor in the wreck.

Contact staff writer Sam Friedman at 459-7545.
