ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Anchorage police say a man died at a sleep-off center.

Police in a Tuesday statement identified the man as 42-year-old David Pete Jr.

He had been asleep but staff members found him not breathing Sunday night at the center, located at the Anchorage Correctional Facility.

Staff and Anchorage Fire Department medics attempted CPR, but couldn't revive him.

Police said they didn't see any signs of foul play. The body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office.
