FAIRBANKS — A Minto man is accused of allegedly sexually abusing a child last year in Fairbanks.
Preston Alexander, was indicted Nov. 15 on one charge of sexual abuse of a minor. According to the indictment, he is accused of sexually abusing a victim younger than 13 on Dec. 5, 2011.
A warrant was issued for Alexander’s arrest, and Alaska State Troopers took him into custody earlier this month near Homer, Fairbanks police detective Chris Nolan said.
Alexander has been moved to Fairbanks Correctional Center, where he is being held on $50,000 bail.
