ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Alaska state troopers say two people have died in a crash on the Seward Highway near Summit Lake.

The three-vehicle collision was reported late Friday afternoon.

Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters says a pickup truck and a Chevrolet Blazer collided head-on. A GMC Yukon SUV was also involved.

Peters says two people ejected from the pickup died at the scene. Firefighters worked to free a person trapped in the Blazer.
