ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A Kenai man will spend 32 months in a federal prison for his conviction of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Joshua Kushner was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage.

Prosecutors in a release say officers found a semiautomatic rifle in Kushner's vehicle on June 2, 2011. Kushner had a previous felony on his record from California, and was not allowed to have weapons.
