Interior legislators schedule constituent meetings

FAIRBANKS — With state elections over, re-elected and newly elected legislators are getting ready to go to Juneau for the 28th Legislative session.

As well as finding housing, hiring staff and packing boxes, legislators are busy meeting with constituents and preparing for lawmaking once the session gavels in.

The Interior delegation has more than two dozen constituent meetings in the next few weeks. Here are a few notable

meetings with local governmental bodies. All meetings are open to the public.

• Dec. 6: City of Fairbanks, City Hall, noon to 1 p.m.

• Dec. 6: Borough school board, school board chambers, 4-5 p.m.

• Dec. 10: City of North Pole, Fairbanks Legislative InformationOffice, 1-2 p.m.

• Dec. 12: Borough mayor and assembly, assembly chambers, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
