Gardening and lawn mowing.
And, of course, mosquitoes.
Yep, that’s Fairbanks.
And it’s an awful big season to cram into six words, but that’s what we’re asking you to do. Yes, it’s time for another Six Words contest.
Our theme this time is “Summer in Interior Alaska.”
Tell us something about it in just six words. Not five. Not four. Just six.
We’ll give small prizes to the three entries that our fine judges select as the best. We’ll publish the winning entries and as many others as we can at the end of the contest.
Deadline is the end of the day Friday, July 13.
Email your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also fax them to (907) 452-7917, drop them off at the News-Miner office, located at 200 N. Cushman St., or mail them to us at Six Words contest, Attention: newsroom, P.O. Box 70710, Fairbanks, AK, 99707.
You can also enter them at our Facebook site (look for the posting of this item) or tweet them to @FDNMeditor.
No more than three entries per person, please.
Again, tell us what you like best about summer in the Interior.
And do it in six words.
