FAIRBANKS — Radio Shack on College Road was burglarized to the tune of a little more than $5,000 early Friday morning.

A thief or thieves pried open the back door of the store sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and stole several electronic devices, according to a Fairbanks police report.

Items taken included seven iPods, a Bluetooth headset, two CB radios, a GPS, several computer tablets and a Kindle reader.

A cash box containing an undisclosed amount of cash also was taken, said Lt. Matt Soden with the Fairbanks Police Department.

Police don’t have any suspects and are investigating the burglary, Soden said. Anyone with information can call police at 450-6500.
