FAIRBANKS — The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce plans to hold two forums for state candidates before the Nov. 6 elections.

The second forum, scheduled for Oct. 30, will be a more crowded field, with 11 candidates vying to represent House districts 1, 2, 4, 5 and 38.
Both events are scheduled for noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Carlson Center.
Admission to the forum starts at $5 and goes up for lunch. Visit fairbankschamber.org to RSVP.
The Alaska Support Industry Alliance also will host a candidate forum at its Fairbanks chapter luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday. The meeting will be held at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge.
