Former Fairbanksan Pierre Chin-Dickey is among the people who hopes to fly a glider into McCovey Cove in San Francisco Saturday as part o the Red Bull Flugtag.

Chin-Dickey, a 2004 West Valley graduate, and four others make up the "Kitty Zazzlers" team. It is one of 37 teams in the event.

"Our hope is to catch some air, but who knows?" he said of the cat-themed glider-to-be. Most of the gliders at previous competitions failed to glide.

He says you can  watch the Kitty Zazzlers at 10 a.m. Alaska time Saturday and the rest of Red Bull Flugtag flight teams through live stream at www.redbullflugtagusa.com
