FAIRBANKS - The North Star Volunteer Fire Department put out a single-wide trailer fire early Thursday morning near the intersection of Bear Avenue and Hollowell Road.

The fire was reported about 5 a.m., and firefighters were able confine most of the fire to the front deck of the home, where the main body of the fire was reported, according to an entry by Capt. Hunter McConnel on North Star’s Facebook page. No one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
