Interior Scrapbook - 1940 aerial

Posted: Sunday, August 25, 2013 6:36 pm

This aerial of Fairbanks shows a small pioneer town combined within a few square miles. No Northward Building or Polaris built yet, and a footbridge over the Noyes Slough with a pedestrian path from the Chena River bridge down to the slough and continuing past that waterway. This photograph was taken by Pacific Aerial Surveys, probably around 1940.
