As I write this in mid-October, we’re busy tying up loose ends. Miki is raking a few leaves for final mulches, and spreading half-frozen compost on the lawn. We’re finishing (or trying to finish) summer projects and fall work, and following up on commitments made during a recent trip to Fairbanks.
That makes this a good time to tie up a few loose ends for our Sundays readers. Unlike certain pundits, I don’t know the future and some of my stories do leave you hanging as to how things will turn out in the end.
