Alaska Trappers Association is holding its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Mushers Hall on Farmers Loop Road.
This month’s program will consist of video presentation regarding the life and wilderness activities of ATA member Nate Turner. Turner’s family lives on a remote river southwest of Fairbanks. They fish and garden in the summer, guide big game hunters in the fall and trap in the winter. The video focuses as much on the value of a remote life as it does on the methods of taking animals. Turner will be in attendance and share additional comments on his family’s remote lifestyle.
A simple meal will be served at 6:30 p.m., in exchange for a donation.
