REI is hosting a workshop on Tuesday, titled “Surviving Winter in Alaska.” This all ages class will help you learn how to bundle up properly and what to do to stay active.
How will you make the most of dark winter nights and sub zero temperatures when there is 663,267 square miles of land to play on? REI welcomes questions on everything, from gear to trails and anything in between. Custom parka fittings or boot fittings will be offered before and after the class.
The class will take place 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 at the REI store on College Road. Admission is $5 for REI Co-Op members and $10 for nonmembers. Find out more at bit.ly/2OmtDvH.
