The University of Alaska Museum of the North, 1962 Yukon Drive, will host botanical artist Karen Stomberg for a talk and book signing at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Stomberg will talk about the exhibition “Collected Treasures: Six Alaska Wildflowers,” on display in the museum’s Café Gallery. A book signing will follow the talk. This event is free and open to the public.

From 1:30-4 p.m., Stomberg will be demonstrating botanical illustration as part of the museum’s Family Day event. The program is included with admission. Children 14 and younger are free on Family Days
