A favorite insect of Alaska is on display at the ninth annual Dragonfly Day, slated for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Tanana Lakes Recreation Area. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet author John Hudson of “Dragonflies of Alaska,” go on nature-led walks, catch and identify dragonflies, and partake in crafts and other events. Food will be available for purchase, and nets and field guides will be available for public use.
