FAIRBANKS — The Pioneers of Alaska Women’s Igloo #8 bakers annually provide refreshments making Fairbanks “Alaska’s home made cookie capital” every Museums Day.

Thanks to the bakers, participating museums, the Ruth Burnett Sports Fishery Hatchery, the fly tying demonstrators in the Bear Gallery of the Fairbanks Arts Association and the hundreds of local residents and visitors who participated in this annual May event sponsored by the Tanana-Yukon Historical Society.
