Student cadets from Lathrop and North Pole High School JROTC volunteered over 100 hours to review award nominations, select award recipients, serve food, present the color guard and present the awards for exemplary first responders at the fourth annual No One Left Behind Awards Banquet on Nov. 9.
Proceeds were donated to the Fairbanks Rescue Mission to provide homeless men, women and children three hot meals, clothes and a safe place to sleep.
