The Fairbanks Children’s Museum recently held its sixth annual Exploration of Food & Wine on Sept. 21. The museum team and board of directors would like to take the opportunity to express its sincere gratitude to the community for its continued support. This event is one of the museum’s core fundraisers and its success is integral to keeping the museum operating.

The Princess Riverside Lodge has long been a valued partner with the museum and we were happy to see our event graciously hosted at their facility again this year. Our event would not have been possible without the generous support of the following organizations: Usibelli Coal Mine, Golden Heart Emergency Physicians, Sourdough Transfer, Doyon Limited, Good, Rivers Wood Products and State Farm Insurance.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event and also to those who contributed to our silent and live auctions. We’d also like to thank all of our volunteers and team members who helped make this event a wild, “wooly” success overall.

Our community here in Fairbanks continues to step up and contribute towards making the museum the premier location for children and their families to spend time in a safe environment that supports learning and creativity. The museum is constantly looking for ways to thrive in the most challenging times.

We would not be here without our community partners providing the resources that enable the museum to succeed.
