Past and Present: Kristi Sandberg

Kristi Sandberg, with her children Ever, 1, on her back, and Soren, 3, and their dog Taz run across a puddle at Third Avenue and Kellum Street on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Kristi grew up down the street in the same house her father Ray Sandberg grew up in. Like her parents, she graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Fine Art. She and her husband, Olaf Gustafson, married in 2011 and she currently has her paintings featured in an art show with sculptures by Becky Anderson at the Phillips Studio and Gallery on College Road through July 30. Have you or someone you know had their photograph taken by a News-Miner photographer 10 or more years ago?
