To the editor:

On Sept. 8, the paper ran an article titled “Report details state’s energy resources.” As President Reagan said “here we go again.”

The Parnell administration failed to look into its files, where it would have found “Energy/Alaska,” by Neil Davis, which the University of Alaska Press published in 1984. This 530-page book is a comprehensive inventory of Alaska’s fuel resources.

If any updating had been necessary, Davis should have been asked to do so. I wonder how much the state paid for this report?
