Delta Junction night firing practice starts Monday

FAIRBANKS — Delta Junction residents may hear explosions, feel vibrations or see aerial flares coming from the Donelly Training Area between Monday and Nov. 9 as the 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division practices using mortars.

The exercises will take place between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
