Crews to work on Amalga Harbor Road in Juneau

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - Alaska Department of Transportation officials say a road project in Juneau will lead to closures over the coming weeks.

DOT spokesman Jeremy Woodrow tells KINY ( ) work on Amalga Harbor Road will take place from Sept. 26 through Oct. 9.

Woodrow says the work will create some delays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

The road will be close to traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 5 and Oct. 8.
