Chugach plans short power outage near Indian

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Power customers in the Indian area south of Anchorage will be in the dark for a few hours on Friday.

Chugach Electric says about 170 customers will be part of a planned outage for emergency repairs.

The customers from Rainbow to Bird will have the power go out about 2 p.m. Friday. It will last an hour or two.
